Acacia farnesiana (Linn.) Willd. (Mimosa) Leguminosae. Shrubs can reach 2-4 m high. The branches are covered with thorns that can measure up to 1 cm in length. Leaves bipinnate, with 4-8 pinnae and 10-20 leaflets per pinna. Leaflets are linear, oblong, round. Capitulum axillary, 1.5 cm in diameter, often multiple clusters.
