Moisturizing

Sunscreen
Aloe Vera sunscreen is primarily composed of anthraquinone (aloin). The long conjugated system of anthraquinone substances allows them to absorb UV rays between 320 and 380nm. The sunscreen is based on the fact that the anthraquinone compounds in aloe vera absorb ultraviolet light under excitation by ultraviolet rays. Electrons then jump from the grounded state to the excited one. The absorbed light energy becomes fluorescence when the electrons return back to the ground. In this process, the aloe anthraquinone converts ultraviolet energy into fluorescence, which does not harm skin. Aloe vera oil and silicone oil can be used together to create an adsorbent layer on the skin that is easy to remove and provides good sun protection.
