The molecular formula of sodium fluoride powder (NaF) is an ionic substance. At room temperature, it is a white or colorless solid. It has no smell. The aqueous solution of sodium fluoride is weakly acidic and can cause glass to corrode. Sodium Fluoride is a fluoride salt that is used widely in a variety of fields, including wood preservatives and fungicides for winemaking, electrolytic aluminium regulators, tooth fluoridation, and many others.
